Furnace Glass
Furnace glass is an exciting team activity in which glass is heated to very high molten temperatures in a crucible, then gathered on a long steel tube and shaped at the gaffer’s bench.
We offer private furnace classes, making flowers, paperweights, vessels, pumpkins, ornaments, and more. Our standard furnace class is $125 for a 30-minute session. In this class, up to 4 participants work with studio owner, Marc Kornbluh, to create one unique piece to take home. We encourage customers to book multiple consecutive time slots if you wish to make multiple items during your visit.
Glaskolben Ornaments
Creating your very own ornaments is a fantastically fun holiday activity for yourself or the whole family. Glaskolben classes are available October through December. With limited supplies and space available, sign up before classes are full!
Public ornament classes are $125/person, and may include up to 6 participants. Each person will leave with 6 finished items — occasionally, happy accidents turn into unique flowers instead of standard ornaments!
Keep an eye out in October for our Early Bird discount!
